Our product was awarded 1st prize in a National Competition in 2011.
Our sake is the result of the discovery of apple barm in 1940 and the development in 1947 of sake mash made using a high temperature saccharification method instead of steaming rice. Our product was chosen as the sake to be drunk by the Imperial family on new year’s day for three consecutive years.
Currently, approximately 45% of our products are quality sake brewed from the finest rice.
